The largest annual sporting event in the world, stage 2 of the 2014 Tour included a section of the route through the Peak District including the iconic Holme Moss climb.
The area was the highest point on the route presenting the challenges associated with accommodating large numbers of spectators in an exposed and relatively remote location.
Given the unique complexity of this task, Trivandi was appointed to provide a strategic review of the event day plans and safety preparations. Our work included reviewing the plans and documentation and providing advice to both the Client and the respective delivery partners. We were able to share our major event experience, giving particular advice on contingency planning, co-ordination of the front line crowd management team with emergency services and security considerations
