Ashgabat 2017, 5th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games

The 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) was hosted in the city of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan in September 2017 and included over 5,500 Athletes from 62 National Olympic Committees competing in 21 sports over 11 days of competition. This was the first Olympic Council of Asia Games to be held in a Central Asian country and the first major multi-sport event in Turkmenistan.

Trivandi Chanzo Limited were appointed in June 2016 as the Operator for Games Planning and Delivery for AIMAG 2017.

Our responsibility included the strategy, planning and delivery of the Games in less than 500 days, with the rapid mobilisation of 280 international staff and senior management team across over 30 functional areas. We also recruited and trained over 400 local employees via our established Games Academy to leave a human legacy of event planning in the country.
